Harlem Harvest Festival was a community event produced by Harlem Park to Park. This is one in a series of events produced by Harlem Park to Park for their Harlem Octoberfest campaign.
The event was to educated Harlemites about the benefits of buying fresh food. It was also a "notice" to local and community retailers that they should stock more fresh products versus processed.
In addition to speakers there was also a farmers market. I arrived late in the afternoon, but seems like it was a success event, with many stands empty or near empty with two hours remaining.
Be sure to check out Harlem Park to Parks website for restaurant and retail $20.10 specials that continue throughout the month of October.
