The first snow of 2012 arrived overnight and I'm not to happy about that. I hate snow...I hate winter, HOWEVER, I'll make the best of it.
I decided to snap some shots on my weekend stroll around the Harlem Meer.
Arriving at the park I was amazed to see so many runners out for the NYRR Central Park Half Marathon. Talk about "dedication"!
The Meer is gorgeous in any season. I havent seen the swans in a while, I wonder where they are?
I wandered over to the French Garden. It's frightful with a virgin coat of snow.
In Summer the garden has a quite different feel.
Hopefully the snow will clear
and we'll have an early spring.
