Stopped by recently to kick off the evening. I've walked past several times, but have never ventured in. Lima's is very laid back, with cultural decor and lots of dark wood. Small, quaint and cozy. i.e romantic. This is the type of place you go on a rainy night to just chill.
I ordered the Picante in creamy pepper sauce and Willie ordered the Tuna Escaveche. The Picante was smooth and flavorful with a subtle kick. The Tuna was taste and blended well with the sweet onions. Both entree's were nicely size and mine left me wanting more. It was delish!
The service was decent. Since this was my first time dining at Lima's she was very helpful with suggestions and dishes they are known for.
When we arrived there was one table seated and during our meal, one couple came in to dine and one came into for ceviche and sat on the lounger in the window.
I would think they would have a steady flow of people coming in based on the ambiance, food, prices and location.
I'll be back to try the ceviche.
