Headed to HB Burger for Lunch. Owned by Heartland Brewery I had low expectations.
Walking in the restaurant is empty. As we’re being seated our server literally pounces on us and asks if we’re ready to order. Geez, we haven’t even sat down, but at least hes attentive.
Looking over the menu, we both decide to order Salads. How ironic, we come to a burger joint to order salads.
I order the provolone stix, and the Caesar salad and Willie orders a hot wings and special southwest Salad. Stix come almost immediately and are really good. Melt in the mouth good. Shortly there after our salads arrive willie’s salad looks a mess. He says it’s pretty good and has a bit of a kick as he likes spicy. My salad is decent, but the beef is like leather. I can’t get a a good Caesar salad in Midtown to save my life!
For desert we both had mini sundae’s which were delish!
The restaurant is cavernous with they typical generic heartland brewery decor, yet devoid of an soul.
Services is competent and attentive.
I guess I’ll have to return to actually have a burger.
