Yum Yum Too

Willie and I decided to have lunch in Thai-land AKA Hell’s Kitchen.  There are more Thai restaurants on 9th Avenue then you can shake a stick at!  The Yum Yum restaurants are no exception as there are at least 3 of them. All on the same block. Confusing!

Walking in the restaurant has a casual chic appearance.  The space is light, bright and airy.  The hostess is pleasant an seats us immediately.

Our waitress instantly appears and takes beverage orders.  She reappears a few minutes later and asks if we have any questions about the menu and offers suggestions.

I ordered Thai Dumplings, Duck Rolls, Coco Shrimp, and Willie ordered the Thai Chicken and Grilled Shrimp.

All my apps were tasty, the duck roll was really good.  The Thai chicken was decent, but I thought the fried egg was over cooked.

Prices were good for midtown Manhattan.  2 people for lunch on with drinks for under $19 is pretty good.

I would return to one of the Yum Yum for a dinner service.
